Principal Rivers Announcements

Good evening, Cimarron Families! This is your Proud Principal, Mrs. Rivers, with the announcements for the week of May 12-16, 2025. This week, our 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade scholars are in the last week of MATH Smarter Balanced Assessments (SBA). Please make sure your child gets plenty of sleep, eats breakfast, is in attendance and arrives on time. As a reminder, due to the fact, we cannot interrupt a testing session once it begins, Scholars who arrive after 8:45am will be supervised in the library until the testing session is over and will need to make-up testing at another time. Our Scholars are doing a fantastic job so far, KEEP IT UP!!

  • 8:30am - Last 5m Legacy Parent Workshop

 Friday, May 16:  

  • School hours are 8:02-2:25
  • Friday Morning Assembly-to attend, sign-in at the main office and get a Visitor’s Pass
  • Breakfast in the Classroom is served after the assembly
  • 5th grade Panoramic Pic @1:00pm

 Saturday, May 17:  

  • Support Cimarron at the STEAM GALA @Gardena H.S. 9-2pm
  • K-5th Mathletes Saturday School @8:00-12:20pm

  • May 28: 4th, Kinder, Room 21- Cabrillo Field Trip
